Cons: see review

Disappointing - the container was too small for practical herb growing, and the planting medium was so porous that it dries very quickly - must water twice a day to keep it damp. No germination planting day after Christmas (2 1/2 weeks).

Pros: Easy to grow, looks nice, great gift

I got this form my mom's birthday gift basket and she loved it! Has all the perfect herbs, comes with the jar to plant it in, no hassle or mess and you can grow the herbs inside! Very simple, lots of fun and a great gift for the gardener or the cook, for birthdays or for house-warming gifts!
